Housekeeper

Summary of Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the community. This position plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, prospects, visitors, and team members.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain leasing offices, clubhouses, fitness centers, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain the cleanliness of community grounds and amenity spaces.
• Prepare model apartments and vacant homes for tours and resident move-ins.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of resident events when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in an organized manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or multifamily experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, dependable, and customer service oriented.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license may be required based on property needs.
